Denver Sangha Social Events

This is a bi-weekly book club where we'll discuss a book chosen by the Sangha.

First meeting for Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman is on 8/29 at 4pm.

1. We will meet at a park (as long as weather is cooperative) with a virtual option for those who can't meet in-person

2. We will meet every other week

3. We will read the book ahead of meetings, and use meeting time to discuss what we read.

4. We will open meetings with a 10-15 minute meditation

We're planning a camping trip next month and would like to know if you're interested in going. The plan is to go out to Buena Vista (beautiful!) and camp out for the weekend of August 13-15. We'll be doing some white water rafting (super fun!), hiking (possibly a 14er) and just enjoying being out of the city for a bit. If rafting or hiking isn't your thing feel free to just join us at the campsite. There's lots of other cool stuff to do out there (mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding, etc.). It's going to be a lot of fun with great people (like you!). We'll send out more specific details soon but to aid in the planning it would be helpful to know how many people might want to go.

Approximate cost:

Camping: $10/night

Rafting: $85

Good times: Free!
